Review-ready policy
Returns and damage
Returns and damage terms must distinguish change-of-mind custom-order limits from defects, major failures, transit damage, and ACL remedies.
Made-to-order goodsCustom and made-to-order stone furniture is produced to approved specifications, so change-of-mind returns may be limited where the goods are as described and free from failure.
Australian Consumer LawNothing in this policy limits remedies available under Australian Consumer Law for defective goods, major failures, unsafe goods, or goods that do not match the approved description.
Transit damageVisible transit or packaging damage should be photographed and reported at delivery. Concealed damage should be reported as soon as discovered with photos and order details.
Incorrect specificationsIf a piece does not match the approved written specification, the remedy path will be assessed against the order record, quote, approvals, and Australian Consumer Law obligations.
Natural variationColour movement, veining, pores, fissures, filled areas, and tonal variation are not treated as faults where they are consistent with natural stone and the approved disclosure.
Assessment processAssessment may require photos, videos, delivery documents, care history, installer notes, and manufacturer review before repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy is confirmed.
