Review-ready terms
Terms of sale
Terms of sale should define quotes, deposits, production approvals, changes, cancellations, natural variation, delivery, inspection, and payment timing.
QuotesQuotes are based on the dimensions, stone, finish, edge profile, freight, delivery, installation, access, and timing assumptions stated in writing.
DepositsMade-to-order pieces require a deposit before production is released. Progress and balance payment stages are confirmed in the quote.
Custom approvalsDimensions, stone direction, tolerances, finish, edge profile, natural variation, and delivery assumptions must be approved in writing before production.
ChangesChanges after approval may affect price, lead time, freight, and feasibility. Some changes may not be possible once stone or production has been committed.
Lead timesLead times are estimates until production and freight milestones are confirmed. Delays can arise from stone availability, fabrication, freight, customs, and site access.
Consumer guaranteesThese terms operate alongside Australian Consumer Law rights and do not exclude guarantees that cannot legally be excluded.
Next step
Start with written assumptions.
If dimensions, stone, delivery, access, or payment terms matter to the project, include them in the quote brief before deposit.
